戏说有人为了金钱而出卖老婆、儿女，还欺骗国家、人民。不但把良心喂狗，还杀人放火。最后当然人财两得，笑着回家。

此片高风险，哭戏多,手脚迟钝者、畏高者不宜！

Broga Hill's Grasses

Poaceae ( previously known as Gramineae ) is one of the largest plant families known to man.  A handful of the member of the Poaceae family were domesticated and cultivated in factory-farms for their seeds for human consumption.  

Except for some species enslaved as food crop, grasses at many other places are  liberated hippies, often regarded as nuisance unproductive weeds.  

But at the top of Broga Hill,  the they are royals.  Visitors are attracted to the hill for reason non-other than the picturesque landscape of grass dominated high land.

Pennisetum polystachyon and Imperata cylindrica dominate the hill, with some broadleaves struggling to survive. 

Here in Broga Hill, Pennisetum polystachyon is the King.  Tall and vigor, gentle yet strong.   While the Queen Imperata cylindrica.  Elegant, strong willed, dancing gracefully in the wind. 

Seasons come and go. 

Rainy and draught seasons… sunrises and sunsets…even mid-days and mid-nights …
The grasses grow and die, re-grow and die…

Crowd streaming in and out. 

Family and friends…elders and youngsters…love birds and litter bugs alike…

The grasses open-heartedly welcome all.

登山

踏上登山之路，始于茅草山。屈指一算，大概是一年前的事了… ….

许多人登山，越登越高、征服了一座又一座，视世界最高峰珠穆朗玛峰为极终目标。我就是少了那份野心和大志，来来去去就是那几座小丘。

到了寡妇山两次，只在山脚流览，就是没有兴趣耗钱折磨自己登上东南亚的最高峰。人的耐力、毅力就如此衡量的吗？大地是如此征服的吗？

登山，其实不必那么复杂。什么成就感、山征服了又如何……都跟我扯不上关系。更不来负离子这一套！

简简单单的登山，并不在乎山有多高、或破什么时间记录，而要不慌不忙、走走停停，才能享受登山的乐趣，才不会错过美丽的风景。

Broga Hill - Bubbling & Bluffing

这次上茅山，是有备而来！

衔 说上得茅山多了，总是越觉得少了些挑战。人总要自我挑战、自我突破，方为人上人。

手电筒，风筝，泡泡枪，椰浆饭，冻巧克力统统塞进背包。凌晨5时出门，6时抵达山脚。哇噻！人山人海。为了避免人潮，虽然咱们已快马加鞭，半跑半走，还是七时到达山顶。

人多毕竟少了清静。众声喧哗中还掺些烟味，扫兴之极。

虽不见日出，但草原下还有云海，还不至于毫无收获。欲放风筝而无风。吹完泡泡，又吃椰浆饭喝冷饮，羡慕煞众登山者。还给人家拍了许多放风筝、吹泡泡的美姿。看来下次可要带西瓜、榴莲了！

Broga Hill - 再访

Broga Hill - Easter's midnight hike

It was a fine starry Saturday night.

We were having supper at the usual Mamak stall.

Nick brought it up again : night hike. He was a free man that night.

Mike agreed almost immediately !

Handsome need to get up early the next morning….. I challanged him …..,

And so it was. 4 guys to Broga Hill at 12midnight !

We reached Broga at 1am.

Equipped with touch lights, staff of steel and an i-phone, off we went into the darkness of the jungle !

Reached at the 1^st peak at 2pm.

Can’t blame us.. We were taking our sweet time. The air was cool, with the scent from the blooming durian, sound of insects….

Sky was bright, from the light of the city.

It was dark in the wilderness. Clouds started to gather. Stars were none to be seen.

The moon was hiding behind the clouds.

It was not as windy and cold as we anticipated.

As clouds were gathering, we started descending at 2.45am…. try to get to the car before rain.

Reached car at 3.30am.

Reached home at 4.15am. Went to bed without shower ! Too tired, too sleepy…

忽地里，翻身映日，白羽衬青田，十分鲜丽！

Broga Hill – Upgraded

This is n-time of me hiking Broga Hill, so finding my way up is not a problem, - sap sap sui - even in the darkness of the night. Though, it was quite blur-blur for me for the first time too, a GPS wont be of much help when we are in the middle of nowhere. ..

Good news everyone !

Someone ( an Outback Adventure Camp ) had taken the liberty of erecting a direction sign at the entrance. With the sign there, at least first-time visitors will be more certain they come to the right place, especially when the staff of the Rabbit Farm opposite the road don’t even know where is Broga Hill ( maybe they are tired of giving directions to those not visiting their Rabbit Farm ).

The signboard writes “ Bukit Broga ( 1.7 km ) ® “ and “ Gunung Tok Wan ( 4.8 km ) ® “ in white on a black background metal board.

About 5 minutes through the oil palm field, another sign indicating “ This way to Broga Hills“ at a junction. This junction is very crucial as the road at the left, which is relatively even, leads to nowhere. ( according to Cat, it’s the long way up. Takes approximately 2 hours journey ) The road at the right, somehow is uneven and rocky is the road to the top.

There are several ravines along the way, which are as deep as it can get. Surely not fun if fall into one of them. The ravines are most probably formed when soil are eroded by running water.

I would recommend all to have a relax stroll up. Why the rush ? The hill won’t go anywhere. Conserve your energy !

Enjoy the flora along the way. .....

The view is breathtaking too ! ....

Once reach the edge of the trees ( meaning no more shades ), it’s another breathtaking sights – field of grass ! Then you know you are on the right track......

There are 4 peaks at the top. Going from one peak to another is not as easy as some may think. ( that ‘s why I said : conserve your energy ! ), but it’s ( walking through field of grasses ) surely something unforgettable

The last of the peaks is a rocky one. Bruised, if not careful. Tough at some point, but it’s all worth it when you stand at the highest point – stand in between earth and heaven….

Broga Hill - sunrise hike

and the sun ray hardly reaches the earth ... 千幸万苦登山，却不见日出 ...

登山者追日应有的态度

不是怨天尤人，
