Sarikei - Map

Sarikei, the capital of Sarikei Division of Sarawak. The town where i lived for almost 15 years, the town i left for almost 15 years too.

its a sleeping town, with no industry to keep it moving along with the rapid development of most Peninsular towns. no airport, no proper road, no recreations, no factories, no life.

maybe i'm being too harsh.
i should say airport is 1 hour away with poorly maintained 2-lane trunk road; travel by road to Sibu is 1.5 hours ; to Kuching will easily take 8 hours ; to Bintulu 5 hours ; to Miri, 10 hours ; 
no highway only winding trunk road, with occasional landslide - thus no toll ; 
no shopping mall - nowhere to overspend ;
no park big enough for a family ;
no cinema , no bowling alley, no skating ring ;
not enough economic activities to support the existing residents......

truely, its a small town. no tourist attraction ... need no map to go around, need no guide.
